Florence Richardson is a MA Fine Art student studying at the University of Edinburgh. She works largely in digital illustration, as well as laser cut, film and 3D installation. Inspired by a Postmodern canon of female and lgbt+ artists rejecting traditional artistic media forms, her work utilises software such as Photoshop to explore and challenge gender/sexuality discrimination within the expanding digital worlds of video games and the internet.

Florence is also a graphic designer, and is Head of Production for Edinburgh College of Art's official academic journal Canvas. She has done freelance design work for fashion magazine Hard, and creates and sells her own merchandise at Redbubble.com
